Do MORE Of What You Love ❤️...and Do What Needs Doing!

In the pursuit of our passions we come up against the "WORK".  The stuff we don't necessarily LOVE.  You know... things like taxes, budgeting, marketing and accounting.

To whom much is given... much is REQUIRED.  And again, I say, like taxes, budgeting, marketing and accounting.

It's easy for people to say, follow your dreams, quit that job, start that business, but BABY, if you haven't learned how to properly set up a business, keep good books, manage your time, create goals, systems, processes and schedules and if you lack in the area of self-discipline and a positive mindset... then you will most definitely have a rough time FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS or DOING WHAT YOU LOVE.

Doing what you love comes at a cost.

You've got to really BE ABOUT IT.  Meaning, if you having your own bakery or online store or hair salon is what makes your heart go pitter patter, then you have to be willing to put in the time to learn how to be successful at it and to do the things that need to be done.

You have to read, you have to ask questions, you have to plan, you have to execute, you may need to hire people to help you and all that I just named has absolutely nothing to do with baking, an online boutique or doing hair, but all of them are necessary if you want to do what you love and make a living out of it without getting in trouble with the IRS or running into problems like lack of funding to keep the doors open!

Anywho... I say all of this because I have learned these things the hard way, but I'm glad I learned them!  lol And so, I pass on whatever I learn with others who may not know the way that I didn't know...  Like I always say... "Each one, teach one."

I also just realized that I had never shared my videos on "How To Purchase Your LLC from Legal Zoom for Only $79" and "How To Get Your EIN Number For Your Business From The IRS" and so, here you go...

You can watch them below...

Until next time...

I pray that you and yours are well and continue to stay well and that you receive all the desires of your heart.  In Jesus Name.  Amen!

Passion, Purpose, Gifts and Talents... Hmm....

During my break from Work and Social Media I have given much thought to my God Given gifts, talents and abilities.

Some of you may know that I started promoting credit repair at the beginning of this year with a company called United Wealth Education (UWE) and I was going hard with it!  lol  And I was gaining momentum and BUILDING the business...

But as I was talking to different people and as I began to work with customers and prospects, I lost all desire to build the business and I didn't like that I lost that desire.  I felt awkward and like a quitter because I literally SHUT IT ALL DOWN.

I wasn't having fun and at this point in my life, I know what it is that I want and so I knew that I had somehow gotten off course.

Now, while I was building my Credit Repair Business I was also writing content for other Digital Marketers and writing has always been something that I love to do, so it comes very easy to me.

I absolutely love to express myself through written word and I am so blessed to be able to share my talent with other people who can also benefit from it!  It's the absolute best thing.

So what does all of this have to do with Gifts, Talents and Abilities you may be asking...

Well, as I sit and meditate on my future and I look at what is and what is to come and I course correct myself to align with the vision, "The Parable Of Talents" keeps coming to my mind:

Matthew 25:14-30

The Parable of the Talents

14 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants[a] and entrusted to them his property. 15 To one he gave five talents,[b] to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master's money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.[c] You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’"

How's your diet?

So, lately I've been thinking about my diet...

Am I eating the right foods?  What am I listening to on a regular basis?  Am I drinking good water?  How is the air that I'm breathing?  Is it of good quality?

I was sitting on the couch tonight after eating a smoothie bowl that I made with:

Apple Juice (In Blender)
Orange Juice (In Blender)
Frozen Mixed Berries (In Blender)
Orgain Vanilla Protein Powder (1-scoop In Blender)
Better Body Foods Organic Superfood Blend (1-scoop In Blender)
Steel Cut Oatmeal (On Top Of Smoothie in bowl)
Unsweetened Shredded Coconut (On Top Of Smoothie in bowl)
Walnuts (On Top Of Smoothie in bowl)

And as I was feeling good and refreshed and healthy and full of self-love because I put good things into my body, I thought...  "What is the definition of diet?"

And so, I looked it up and this is what I found on www.merriam-webster.com :

"diet

 noun (1)
di·et |  \ ˈdī-ət   \

Definition of diet

 (Entry 1 of 4)

1afood and drink regularly provided or consumeddiet of fruits and vegetablesa vegetarian diet
bhabitual nourishmentlinks between diet and disease
cthe kind and amount of food prescribed for a person or animal for a special reasonwas put on a low-sodium diet
da regimen of eating and drinking sparingly so as to reduce one's weightgoing on a diet
2something provided or experienced repeatedlyTheir imaginations feverish from a diet of detective novels …— The New Yorkerheard a steady diet of excuses"
My favorite definition of the word is definition #2 which says, ":something provided or experienced repeatedly."

This definition led me to think further upon my diet and about the things that are provided to me by me or others for which I am able to experience repeatedly.  And more importantly, do I like what I am experiencing?

Is my diet good for my well-being?

Does my diet benefit me Spiritually, Emotionally, Physically, Financially and Socially?

Am I helping me to be my best self by consuming the right types of things in my everyday life?  And if not, what adjustments do I need to make?

Just a thought...

What about you?  How's your diet?

Leave me a comment below if you care... ❤️

I hope you're doing well and that life is treating you well.

Much Love,

~Mo'
